About Pakistan Learning Festival

Children’s Literature Festival (CLF) is now rebranded as the Pakistan Learning Festival (PLF) as a movement to generate positive social capital creating networks and associations for the purpose of ‘unlocking the power of learning, reading, self-expression and critical thinking”. The festival is curated across multiple-learning strands, is multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual and inclusive for all. PLF targets children (3-18); teachers and youth in colleges and universities.

How can stories be brought to life in classrooms? Stories are not just a form of amusement but a great tool of learning. Kitab Gari brings forth a way to materialize stories, bringing a vivid world of colors and imagination to facilitate social-emotional learning, IB profiles, and design thinking. Transforming rigid learning in classrooms into a collaborative environment between teachers and students.’ The workshop with Government Girls High School Chauburji Gardens, proved to be a great example of such collaborative learning.
