Baela Raza Jamil, CEO of Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) centre for education and consciousness and the founder of the Children’s and Teachers’ Literature Festivals in Pakistan. She is the Advisor of CLF. Baela has worked with provincial and federal governments as a technical advisor in education sector reforms, public private partnerships, innovations and financing. She leads the citizen led assessment and accountability initiative, the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) Pakistan which was the trigger for the CLF in 2011 due to the low learning outcomes of children. Baela seeks to mobilize multiple allies to make CLF into a Social Movement for - promoting reading, expression and creativity as an Equalizer. She is serving as a Commissioner to the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity (Education Commission) and is associated with many global, regarional and local boards including the Sanjan Nagar Public Education and Trust (SNPET).

Atif Badar is an extremely versatile artist. He has worked extensively on stage, done various voice-overs, acted on mini screen and made his way on the big screen through Ramchand Pakistani. He started his career in 1993 with Tehrik-e-Niswan as a theatre actor. He also worked with Katha theatre group. Currently he is working as a theatre and creative movement teacher, writer and director in three well reputed educational institutes in Karachi. He also conducted two theatre workshops in Singapore. His sessions have been the most popular sessions at the CLFs he has participated in. Atif has written 30 short theatre plays and numerous songs and poems for children. One of his poems on confidence building ‘Aik thi Chunni Aik thi Munni’ was published in the children's magazine Santara. Atif is also a magnificent story teller. He has written about 15 short stories for children and conducted and performed many story telling and dramatic reading sessions for children and elders. Atif Badar has directed 130 short and long theatre plays for different schools since 2010 as a theatre drama teacher and director. He has remained a part of CLFs held across Pakistan. He specially wrote a script, songs and directed a theatre play ‘Chilghouzay aur Mouzay’ for CLF Karachi 2014. The super talented Atif is also a culinary expert - His recipes have been published in Pakistan's famous newspapers and magazines.

He is the current Special Secretary Education for South Punjab. He has also served in important capacities such as Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh, Assistant Commissioner (Islamabad), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Islamabad), Additional Home Secretary (Punjab) and Deputy Commissioner (Bahawalpur). He has a rich academic background, and in addition to being a medical graduate, is also a Barrister-at-Law from the United Kingdom and a member of prestigious Lincoln's Inn. Prior to that, he had done Master's in History, and LLB from Pakistan. He has also done his Fellowship in Law and Human Rights from the University of Minnesota, USA, as a Fulbright/Hubert Humphrey Fellow, and as an affiliate of Amnesty International.
