A Children’s History of The Punjab

Hamida Khohro is one of the reputed names who dedicatedly work for education sector in Pakistan. She earned higher education in South Asian History from University of London, UK. Her realm is History, Education, and Politics. She served as the educationalist in national and international prestigious institutes like Oxford University and University of Sindh and University of Karachi. She has also the honor for being nominated as Education Minister of Sind twice in her illustrious career. Ms. Khohro has written several books on Children and Adult Literature.

Her book “A Children History of Punjab” was launched in the section of Children Literatures Festival. The book carried interesting fact and figures about children and Punjab region. She firmly lay her ground with a profound concoction of religion, politics and ethnographic. She also signified deep historical contribution of different religions like Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism in Punjab.
