Funkor uses the medium of art and books to extend children’s outlook and awareness of the concepts of environment and heritage protection, human rights, equality, tolerance and peace. Funkor is committed to promoting art among children and generating healthy and creative activities for children from a broad spectrum of society.

Katha, a nonprofit organization working with and in story and storytelling for 22 years now, has more than 300 published titles, including quality translations of fiction for adults and children; 21 Indian languages in the voices of over 600 writers and translators.

When teachers, who were later to found the Bookgroup, started looking for child-friendly and colourful books for using as alternative textbooks in schools, they found Urdu books developed and published in India, China and the Soviet Union (now Russia) available in the Karachi market. To their good fortune, they had found prototypes of books that were to alter once and for all the nature of Urdu literature for children and initiate a new content and approach to teaching of Urdu in schools. The Bookgroup was founded in early 1990. The first title published was Hasan ki Gali, written by Sami Mustafa and Rumana Hussain, and illustrated by Rumana Hussain.

The Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh, is a semi-autonomous organization committed to educating and empowering children and communities towards social change by improving access to educational facilities. Since its establishment in 1992 as a semi-autonomous organization, the SEF endeavors have focused on bringing the light of education for the growth and development of those living in remote and disadvantaged areas of the Sindh province in Pakistan.

Initially, the Foundation began its operations with the provision of grants and loans to educational institutes and organizations. Today, we provide communities with access to educational facilities by opening schools/ educational centers across the province in partnership with individuals and/or organizations. We ensure educational quality across our diversified portfolio of programs and projects through extending professional development opportunities to multiple school stakeholders as well as by undertaking qualitative and quantitative research and monitoring to study the impact of our interventions and to identify improvement areas for enriching educational interventions at the grassroots.

The National Book Trust, India, is an apex body established by the Government of India (Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development) in the year 1957 to develop reading habits and creation of book culture in the country. To achieve its objectives, Trust is publishing good quality books at reasonable price, organizing Book Fairs and Exhibitions in all parts of the country to provide an opportunity for interaction among authors, publishers, librarians and book lovers.

CLC aims to provide recreational and educational platform to children of Pakistan thus nurturing them in mental and physical development. CLC acts as a resource centre that would supplement formal education and inculcate healthy pursuits among children. CLC not only grooms children for using the main library in the future, but also offers educational and hobby development resources for them. CLC intends to develop children’s interpretation, exploration inventiveness and creativity skills through diverse activities and programs.

CLC quests to utilize expertise and longer experiences of professional working in composite service deliveries to kids for their intellectual capacities development through the provision of a wide spectrum of educational and recreational activities.
