PPP MPA Nawab Muhammad TaimurTalpur held a storytelling session at a government school in Saddar, Karachi on April 13th 2016. Talpur, who is also the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Education, visited NJV School where he had an intimate, lively storytelling session with students of Class 5. He read an Urdu story titled ‘Faltoodan’ that teaches children the use and importance of using trashcans in public places to prevent pollution. The students enjoyed the session as the MPA acted out parts of the story. This was followed by an interactive Q/A session among the students, teachers and MPA. Given the story’s theme, TaimurTalpur talked to students about the need to protect the environment and keep our cities clean.He also took a round of the school, talking to teachers and school management about the quality of education provided at the school and promised to take their complaints forward to the education department.
