World Teachers day celebrated on October 5th, 2021
PLF launched a campaign focused on empowering the voices of teachers, giving them the opportunity to express teaching challenges they faced during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have received around 80 entries from teachers around Pakistan talking about the innovation that they introduced in their teaching methods specifically for countering the challenges posed by COVID-19 towards giving education and also incorporating technological aspects.

My Rights During COVID on promoting and raising awareness of the UN convention on the rights of the Child launched to celebrate Children’s day on 28 November 2021. We provided the opportunity for children (3-18 years) to express themselves freely focusing on the thematic areas of Education, Health, Family, Protection, Play and Climate Change. Sign the ECM Petition
Child marriage occurs when one or both spouses are below the age of 18. While boys can be affected, the issue primarily impacts girls. Studies have revealed a direct correlation between early marriages and low levels of education. In 2012 and 2013, 53.7% of married girls between the ages of 15 and 19 years never went to school. It also impacts other areas of development, often leading to poverty, poor health, vulnerability to HIV/AIDS, and maternal/infant mortality.

Sign the UpForSchool Petition
Instructions for filling out signature forms
1. The head of the institution/department has to sign authorizing the authenticity of the signatures and agreement to be a part of this campaign this is on the invitation letter and summary sheet form.
2. In order for the signature to be counted, we need ALL the following details: first name, last name, village, as well as the signature. If someone is unable to sign then a thumb impression would be valid.
3. If you have more than one branch/department, then please attach a summary sheet of all branches/departments on the top so that we can easily count the number of signatures from each sheet.
