Active Youth Organization
Active Youth Organization (AYO) is working voluntarily for the betterment with the youth of universities, colleges and schools of Pakistan.
The Active Youth Organization (AYO) aims to increase the contribution of community leaders towards achieving sustainable development both locally and globally. It also encourages peer-to-peer relations across cultural, geographic and political boundaries via a lively online social network of participants and Conflict Resolution, Non formal education, and youth development.
Alif Laila Book Bus Society
The Alif Laila Book Bus library is exclusively for children up to 8 years and below. The bus has two decks; the upper deck is for story telling where a female teacher narrates stories to children while the lower deck is stacked with books.
Its basic objective is to promote reading culture in Pakistan and evolve solutions to Pakistan's educational problems within the given socio-economic constraints, find strategically effective paths to universal literacy and educational modernization, which would show the quickest results and the most favorable cost-benefit ratios.
Grips Theatre
Grips Theatre Group Karachi was founded in 1982 at the behest of the Goethe Institute here. Initially, plays were performed in English, the English translated play scripts being provided by the Goethe institute. After two plays in English, it was decided that to reach out to more people the plays should be adapted in Urdu. The original Grips plays had strong and positive messages for the people generally and children especially. The founding director of the Theatre Group was the Late Yasmin Ismail. Faiza Qazi has been in charge since Yasmin’s demise. Other members are Sajeeruddin, Maria Hosain, and Khaled Anam, later on joined by Aysha Sheikh, Ameed Riaz, and Ali Saleem. Renowned television actors also perform as and when required.
Mandwa Theatre
The year 2006 witnessed the foundation moments of Mandwa Theater, a cluster of young and mature stage performers who have a history of on and back stage expertise. In the field of theatre, these anticipators are facing the inherited challenges, yet they have stood up with a new approach towards the system. Instead of forcing a sudden revolution in performing arts, Mandwa believes is allowing change to happen gradually with a logical comprehension of a rostrum.
Mandwa has organized a myriad of performing art festivals, un numbered theatrical events, marvelously reaped fruits of self-finance, and hence participated inWorld’s First Children Drama Festival held at Royal Albert Hall London in 2010 organized by ABC Germany. Mandwa also regularly participates in various programs of celebrated Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop, such as Youth Festival, International events, such as International Children Festival of Performing Arts being organized by Ryan International School India, where children from scores of countries participate. In 2012, committed and talented young members of Mandwa Theatre also performed for Aurat Foundation during Activism.

Mian and the Mithus
Mian and the Mithus is a bi-lingual music group comprising teachers and students at the NJ's House school in Islamabad, Pakistan. They focus on writing and composing children's songs, primarily in Urdu, in order to promote Pakistani language and arts content that connects to school curricula. This will be their first public performance.

OLOMOPOLO Media is a media and art management and entertainment organization that aim to bring back quality entertainment in all possible forms to the society. Our audience consists of a range of age groups and backgrounds. Our main focus is on art, media and culture, and our services are various.
Rafi Peer Theatre
Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop is the oldest independent theatre/puppet company of Pakistan. It was founded in 1974 as a Not for Profit Organization and is the only group in Pakistan which is organizing Major International Arts Festivals. In 1992, Rafi Peer Theatre staged its first Puppet Festival and during the last 13 years it has produced 19 international festivals of Puppetry, Theatre, Dance, Music and Film. These festivals have featured over 3000 performances by approximately 3000 artists from more than 59 countries. Their World Arts performing and Visual Arts Festival consist of many forms and styles of Theatre, Dance, Music, Puppets, Film from traditional to contemporary arts which serves as a meeting point for Eastern and Western Musicians, Dancers, Puppeteers, Theatre Artists, and Film Makers.
Laajverd
Since starting out in 2007 as a student-led initiative, Laajverd has evolved into a varied interdisciplinary collective with a focus on the intersections of culture, art and architecture.
Laajverd aims to stir, sustain and channel exchange and awareness across social, geographic and creative boundaries.
Our projects reflect this; in their experiments with communication and designed interactions; in their geographical, participatory and audience diversity; and in their staunch refusal to buckle to convention.
Sindh Education Foundation
The Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh, is a semi-autonomous organization committed to educating and empowering children and communities towards social change by improving access to educational facilities. Since its establishment in 1992 as a semi-autonomous organization, the SEF endeavors have focused on bringing the light of education for the growth and development of those living in remote and disadvantaged areas of the Sindh province in Pakistan. Taya Online Theatre Group
Taya Online is a popular comedy show being broadcasted on ATV since the past three years. It’s a unique show as it does not target and political party or individual and instead presents topics for the improvement of the individuals and the society. It is liked by people of all ages. Another specialty of this program is a parrot that identifies when someone is lying. This was a unique concept and highly appreciated by the viewers. The character of taya (elder paternal uncle) is played by Yar Muhammad Kan.

Toffee Tv
ToffeeTV.com is a digital initiative that creates songs, stories and activities in Urdu, delivering them through the web and mobile platforms which children are native to. The idea is to create educational programming for young children and get them as excited about learning Urdu, as they are with readily available content for other languages. Thespianz Theater
Thespianz Theater is a ‘performing arts services’ organization that has been operating on a non-profit basis for over eight years now. The organization has performed 56 professional productions, 34 dance productions, 107 theatre & motivational workshops nationwide and internationally. These include plays, dances, mime shows, eastern operas, and flash mobs. The organization performed a play called Pappu ka Paneer at the Children’s Literary Festival 2012 & 2013 in CLF Lahore. The play is an adaptation of Who Moved My Cheese, a book that was originally written by Dr Spencer Johnson, dealing with the theme of change in one’s life, and is primarily motivational in nature. The Theatre group is devoted to the promotion of cultural activities, performing arts for social issues, Theatre for Development (TFD), workshops, trainings on important subjects, and promotion of primary and secondary education through theatre and working on old traditional string puppetry in Pakistan.
Zambeel Dramatic Readings
Zambeel Dramatic Readings aims to present texts in Urdu and English rendered in their dramatized form, to create a dynamic collusion between literature and performance. Referencing traditions of storytelling and the contemporary form of the radio play, Zambeel’s works traverse time and geographical boundaries to interpret and enliven narratives through sound and recitation. Zambeel Dramatic Readings was founded by Mahvash Faruqi, Asma Mundrawala and Saife Hasan in September 2011.
