An absolutely amazing experience was witnessed by over 25, 000 children and adults with over 400 schools from ICT, KP, Punjab and Balochistan at the CLF Islamabad on May 24-25, 2013 Pak China Friendship Centre. Over 20 books were launched in the Rahman Baba Lounge, including a book by a 9 year old Asas Husain by skype, 9 major murals were produced.

The Chief Guests were His Excellency Gajus Scheltema, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands, Mr. Ahmed Bilal Soofi caretaker Federal Law Minister and Secretary Federal Ministry of Education and Training and Special Guest Dr. Kozue Kay Nagata Country Director UNESCO.
The teams from ITA and OUP were at their finest led by Maham Ali and Waqas Bajwa, Zaynah Gilani, Nida, Waseem Khan, Abu Bakar and Yasir Ahmed; Raheela Baqai , Fayyaz Raja, Bushra Shahab. Sohail , Zehra and many more – this was an outstanding co-production a great gathering for the children, teachers and communities of Pakistan ; The CLF is part of the Citizens Movement for Quality Education (CMQE).. along with ASER ,Right to Education (RTE) and Chalo Parho Barho or Let’s Read and Grow.
